Aileen needed an energetic, mixed media music video for her single Boom Bap. The goal was to fuse high level choreography in a neon mirror studio with gritty urban street scenes, elevated by dynamic motion graphics and frame by frame visual effects.
The Brief
Aileen required a flagship music video to launch her single and establish her identity as a powerful hip hop artist and dancer. The visual direction needed to blend classic urban street aesthetics with modern, stylized post production effects.
The Insight
Standard hip hop videos often stick strictly to static lip sync performance shots. To build a video that keeps viewers locked in from start to finish, the edit required a seamless balance of technical dance performance, location shifts, and continuous mixed media animation.
The Strategy
We constructed a dual environment narrative, alternating between an illuminated infinity mirror dance room and late night city spots including convenience stores, gas stations, and classic cars. We planned hand drawn motion graphics, rotoscoped overlays, and color shifts to match the rhythmic bounce of the track.
The Approach
303 Visuals managed the post production edit, motion graphics, mixed media FX, rotoscoping, and final color grade. We synchronized kinetic line art, flame accents, and posterized color flashes with the beat cuts, keeping her vocal performance and dance execution at the center of every frame.
The Result
The video delivered a striking visual identity for Aileen across YouTube and social channels. It built strong listener retention, drove organic shares, and positioned her as a standout multi talent in hip hop and dance culture. Clean story. Strong finish. Global rollout.
